Chances for all students’ participation

Teachers create opportunities to allow all students to participate in classroom activities. For example, teachers could use elicitation techniques to skillfully invite the participation of less able students and to limit the ‘over-participation’ of more able students. Teachers could also assign different roles to students of different abilities to increase their participation in learning activities.
