Diversified learning goals
Teachers could set different learning goals according to the characteristics of learning content, as well as students’ abilities and needs. For example, for the same topic, or concept, more capable students are expected to express their stance, to give their own opinions about an issue or to apply their understanding to analysis. Average ability students are expected to compare the given information and to give reflections on the topic. Less able students are expected to grasp the meaning of words or concepts.
