According to different students’ learning styles, teachers could adopt diversified teaching materials (e.g. newspapers, photos, realia, recordings, e-learning apps, etc.) to raise teaching effectiveness. E-learning apps enable students of different abilities to monitor their learning progress and to learn through trial and error. Photos and realia could help explain complicated concepts, thus reducing the cognitive load of less capable students. Teachers could also use varied display methods (e.g. photos, graphs, outlines, mind maps) to explicate teaching content to help those who are slow in decoding texts to absorb content more easily.
